Chapter 1

In 1973, when I was 8 years old, I lived in the Vietnamese jungle. I stayed with a young woman who appeared to be in her 20s or 30s. She had been with me since I was born and could transform into a white tiger and go by Blink. We were hiding from the soldiers fighting in the ongoing war in Vietnam.

One day, while Blink and I were searching for food, we heard gunshots. Blink needed to find a safe place for me where the soldiers wouldn't find us. She discovered a cove, and we stayed there for a long time. While hiding, we heard someone entering the cove where we were concealed. Blink hid me deeper in the cove and went to investigate, but before she left, she transformed into a tiger. She was gone for a short time and returned, but not alone; there was a soldier who was badly hurt.

I asked her, "What are you doing? I thought we were trying to avoid the soldier wars." She blinked, turned to me, and replied, "Yes, we are, but this man can assist us. He's not here to engage in the war; he's here to find you. Blink said, "What do you mean by that?" Blink told me, "You can heal him, and then he can assist you in leaving the jungle, as the war there is becoming too dangerous for you to remain."

I walked up to the soldier and rested my hand on his chest, making my hands emit a purple glow as I started to heal him. As the man began to regain consciousness, I stepped back, but Blink reassured me, saying, "It's okay, he won't hurt you." I am Blink, and she informed the man that he was safe and conscious of being with the Light*Dark Guardian, with the intention of helping to move Amaranthine to a secure location. The man introduced himself as Kai Hwang and mentioned that he was part of the Light*Dark Guardian. He said that Liam Wakefield is the leader of the Light*Dark Guardian. However, it was important to note that I also have responsibilities with The Black Berets Special Forces.

Blink said, "I understand you have responsibilities to them, but at this moment, you are here to assist."

Kai said, "I am, but we need to go meet someone in the M*A*S*H* unit for assistance, and then I have to return to my unit."

Blink asked me to come closer to both of them, but I hesitated because I didn't know him. I've only been around Blink my whole life and don't know anyone else. I went up hide behind Blink. The Blink turns to me and says Kai is our friend who will help us get out of here. Then informed me that we will go with Kai to the M*A*S*H* unit to meet someone else who can assist us. You need to be brave so you can leave Vietnam and have a better life.

The following day, we left the coven and the jungle to reach the M*A*S*H* unit, where we could meet others who might assist us. Upon our arrival, we met a woman named Iran Feywin, who mentioned she could assist, but she couldn't leave at the moment due to the influx of wounded soldiers. At that point, Kai insisted he needed to return to his unit first, as he had something that could aid in the ongoing war. So Iran to Blink and I to vip tint for us to stay in for now.

We have been in the M*A*S*H* unit for a few days. It's been a few days, and Kai has not returned, while Iran is busy with wounded soldiers. Blink has become very impatient; she really wants to get us out of here. Iran came to tant said he got news about Kai, he be here in two days, so when get there. Kai arrived when it was mentioned, and Iran told us we need to go where others can see us living. We found a place where no one can find us. Iran started to speak, but I couldn't make out her words. Suddenly, a large blue light appeared before us. Iran assured us it was safe to pass through it.

As we pass through the light, we find ourselves in a sort of room. Iran mentioned that we are currently at the Light*Dark Guardian base in South Korea, and we will be meeting Liam shortly, so now we need to determine our next steps. Since we're waiting for Liam to arrive, I'm going to take Amaranthine to a room where she can get some sleep.

Blink told me to stay in the room while she went to see Liam. Liam welcomed Blink and noted that it had been a while since they last met. He praised her for doing a good job looking after Amaranthine, but stressed that more efforts were necessary to shield her from Dark Shadow. He mentioned that it had taken some witch assistance for Khlyen to track down Amaranthine.

Liam mentioned that Kai and Iran intend to live in Seoul, South Korea, where they will raise her as their own. However, before departing, they intend to seal her magic to enable her to live a normal life and to protect her from the witch who might find her. Blink, you need to choose something smaller than a tiger; you can either let her go or assist elsewhere. Blink decided, "I will remain with her as her pet cat." Liam said that means you can shift around when you can. Blinl said, "That's fine, only I can stay with her to keep her safe." Ok, have Stahma come up and cast the spell over Amaranthine. Then you need to leave right after that, there place we have got you guys to stay in.
