Jacy McCullers

Jacy is a werewolf with red hair and green eyes, appearing to be in his early 30s. He can transform into a black wolf when running with his pack or during a fight. He became the alpha of the werewolf pack after his father, Gosheven McCullers, was killed by Khlyen and his vampire clan, which attacked and nearly wiped out the rest of his pack. Jacy's pack hails from the Scottish Highlands.

Four months after Khlyen turned Connor, an acquaintance of Amaranthine, into a vampire, he attacked Jacy's pack. During this assault, Jacy's father, Gosheven, was killed in a battle with Khlyen. At that moment, Jacy was in the woods and fell into a pit, suffering severe injuries. Amaranthine, who accidentally fell into the pit as well, encountered him there. She attempted to assist him, but he bit her, mistaking her for a vampire. After biting her, he transformed into a man with very light blond hair and blue eyes. They were stuck in the pit for a whole day, during which they got to know each other. He introduced himself as Jacy. Eventually, some members of his pack discovered them and helped them out. Once rescued, Jacy told Amaranthine, "I have to go," and ran away, seeking to escape everything. As he left the woods, Khlyen confronted Jacy and said, "Where are you going? You are not leaving us."

Once the others helped him out of the pit, they went back to the pack. However, upon their arrival, they discovered many of their men had perished. Jacy noticed his twin sister, Bree, weeping beside their dead father. He rushed over to her and their fallen father. Although Jacy wanted to pursue Khlyen and kill him, he was too injured to fight effectively, and most of the pack had been slain. He informed the surviving pack members, "We will pursue Khlyen as soon as I recover. For now, we wait."

While Jacy was recovering from his injuries, he recalled that he had bitten her. This worried him because, during a lunar eclipse, any human bitten on the first night turns into a wolf. He attempted to locate her but was unsure of her whereabouts or whether Khlyen had her. Jacy reached out to Liam Wakefield, the leader of the Light*Dark Guardians, to seek their assistance in finding her. Liam informed Jacy that they had located her in Dublin, Ireland, along with some other members of the Light*Dark Guardians. They are watching over her and ensuring her safety.

Jacy realized he had to travel to Dublin, Ireland, as Amaranthine was scheduled two days prior to the lunar eclipse. Consequently, he needed to notify his pack that he would be departing slightly earlier than her initial transformation. As a result, he entrusted Teofilo, the beta, with the responsibility of overseeing the pack during his absence.

Upon arriving in Dublin, Ireland, he faced challenges when he encountered vampires linked to Khlyen. Forced to hide in the woods overnight, he ventured out the next day during the lunar eclipse to find her. She was already in the woods and spotted him. Jacy approached Amaranthine and said, "I needed to find you during the lunar eclipse, and I must bite you; this will soon transform you into a wolf." I asked him, "Is that why I feel so hot and drawn to the moon?" Jacy confirmed, "YES." I then felt my body changing, experiencing intense pain at first, until I transformed into a wolf—but not just any wolf; I became a nine-tailed fox. Jacy observed and said, "You didn't turn into a wolf; you're a nine-tailed fox." I rushed to the river and saw my reflection as a nine-tailed fox. I stayed in that form until sunrise, with Jacy by my side, sleeping in the woods.

The following morning, I glanced at Jacy with a bewildered look and said, "What happened? I transformed into a nine-tailed fox." Jacy seemed equally perplexed. I suggested that Jacy return with me to Connor and the others. When we arrived, Connor rushed over and exclaimed, "Where have you been? We've been searching for you everywhere." I then recounted the events of the previous night. They stared at me in confusion, but Connor commented, "What are you now, a vampire, a nine-tailed fox, or a wolf?" Jacy stepped between us, glowing, and said, "Back off, you vamp." It seemed like a fight was about to break out, but fortunately, I prevented it from happening.

Then Raven said, "Alright, I'm not sure what happened, but we can seek assistance." She glanced at Hal, who responded, "Yes, we'll reach out to Stahma and Liam Wakefield; they might have insights about your situation, Amaranthine." Liam Wakefield, the leader of the guardians, and Stahma met with Raven and Hal's mother, who were both worried. They arrived and offered limited assistance, saying, "But Amaranthine, you'll need to discover more on your own." I looked puzzled and asked, "What do you mean I have to figure it out by myself?" Stahma replied, "The answers lie in your dreams." I do have dreams, but I don't always comprehend them. Meanwhile, Liam Wakefield Khlyen was searching for me, killing numerous supernatural beings and humans. Khlyen was also in search of something. That's when they introduced Emily, another vampire who was with Khlyen but disagreed with what was happening. She left and found the Light*Dark Guardians, who advised her to take me to Connor for safekeeping.

After they departed, Jacy had to tell Amaranthine that he needed to return to his pack in the Scottish Highlands. Although Amaranthine didn't want him to go, Jacy had no other option. He reassured her, "I will come back, and I'll bring the pack here to protect you." Upon reaching the Scottish Highlands, he explained the situation to his pack and asked if they would accompany him to Dublin, Ireland. They all agreed, responding with a resounding "YES." Consequently, they traveled to Dublin, Ireland, but instead of staying with everyone else, they settled outside the city in the same woods. Jacy stayed there with them, but he wished to be closer to Amaranthine. So, he told Teofilo, "You watch the pack while I'm with Amaranthine."

However, during Jacy's stay with them, she was uncomfortable with how Connor behaved around Amaranthine, knowing he was also in love with her.

For approximately two years, he assisted in the mission to thwart Khlyen. Although they repeatedly failed to catch him, they frequently encountered vampires attacking humans or other supernatural creatures. During this time, they met Dylan Turner, Amaranthine's boyfriend and her intended husband in the human realm, as well as her sister Miao and brother Lu Si.

Once Dylan transformed into a vampire, he went back with Amaranthine to their previous residence. Later, Connor helped him adapt to his new existence as a vampire. Miao, Lu Si also accompanied them on their return.
